Feelings of Spring!

Spring is here! I see it reflected in my paintings - in my choice of colours and mark-making. The energy of the season finds its way onto my canvas, filling each piece with vibrancy and renewal.

Last weekend, I completed a painting titled Feelings of Spring. It captures the freshness and optimism of this time of year with bold strokes and a palette that echoes blooming flowers and warming sunlight. I had planned for it to set the tone for my first Solo Show in May!

However, I’m not the only one who sees its spring-like vitality! An art curator contacted me yesterday, suggesting I submit Feelings of Spring for an upcoming group show they are organising, which also celebrates the season. I’m honoured by the opportunity.

But do I keep Feelings of Spring for my solo show or do I submit it?!.. I think I’ll submit it and I'm excited to share my work! - there’s still time to paint several more vibrant pieces for my solo exhibition. The creative energy of spring is in full flow, and I can’t wait to see what unfolds on the canvases next!
